We are located in the heart of Umbria, where uncontaminated nature seduces and enchants anyone who feels the emotion of riding through it on horseback.
And...with a little mastery of the horsemanship, you can join us for an adventure lasting one or several hours on the saddle of your own horse or with one from our stables.

At our Riding Centre you can:

Inside our centre, you will discover our great passion, years of experience, love and dedication in our work.
Our instructors are: equestrian tourism guides, 1st and 2nd grade instructors, dressage judges.
Our structure has an area completely dedicated to its customers with outdoor and indoor relaxation areas, a cosy Club House, dressing rooms with personal lockers and a spacious bathroom.
In the equestrian area there are 16 3X3 m wooden boxes, shower area for horses, 2 saddleries, a 15X52 m sand covered field with lights and a 20X40 m sand school field, another sand field 40x70 m, a round pen for training of 18 m sand covered, plus several paddocks located around the main structure.

IL CENTRO IPPICO “LA LACCIARA” DI POGGIOVALLE SECONDO A “UMBRE BEST EXPERIENCE 2023”
Il Centro Ippico “La Lacciara” è stato premiato come seconda migliore esperienza di “UMBRE Best Experience 2023”, grazie alla propria iniziativa legata all’equiturismo.
La cerimonia di premiazione si è svolta lo scorso 25 novembre presso il Teatro Caio Melisso di Spoleto. Il Premio, alla sua prima edizione, è promosso dalla rete al femminile con vocazione turistica “UMBRE” (United Marketing for Business and Regional Experience) e nasce con l’obiettivo di celebrare l’impegno e la capacità del settore turistico regionale di rendere la vacanza in Umbria un’esperienza unica e di valore.
Il progetto del Centro Ippico “La Lacciara”, gestito dagli istruttori Johan Ramires e Stella Bacchio presso Poggiovalle Tenuta Italiana, è quindi risultato tra le migliori e più innovative esperienze realizzate nel territorio umbro.
Gli ospiti vengono guidati alla scoperta del vecchio mestiere del mandriano a cavallo (chiamato anche Buttero) sulle colline umbre che si trovano tra Città della Pieve e Fabro. Viene descritta la fase di addestramento del cavallo affinché cooperi con l’uomo nella gestione del bestiame.
Si tratta di un‘esperienza che si rivolge sia agli adulti che ai bambini, offrendo una duplice opportunità. Da una parte si fruisce dello spettacolo offerto dai butteri, la doma del puledro e la gestione della mandria di vitelli maremmani. Dall’altra si dà la possibilità di imparare la monta da lavoro dei butteri, avendo come sella la bardella o la scafarda (utilizzata dall’esercito italiano) e il cavallo condotto a briglia cioè con una sola mano in modo da poter tenere nell’altra mano per le altre necessità, come ad esempio per tenere la mazzarella (un bastone di legno usato dal buttero per aprire e chiudere cancelli rimanendo in sella).
Tutto questo avviene nel pieno rispetto degli animali e all’interno della Tenuta di Poggiovalle, un’oasi naturalistica perfettamente conservata.
